NASA is short of cash so they hold a lottery for one person to win a trip to the international space station. The heroine [Danielle] is the lucky winner. Aliens Dakhar and Kaveth kidnap Dani and female astronaut Jordan from the space station. The aliens intend to sell the women for big money.
From here the adventure begins. This novella relays the events that happen to Dani after she was sold.

Mara Frost is a new author for me and I was pleasantly surprised at how well written these stories were! The characters are well defined and the story line/plot was well developed. The sub-characters are strong and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens between [alien] Kaveth and [human astronaut] Jordan as well as the intriguing space pirate Vorak [who we meet later]! The first two novellas do end on a cliffhanger but the final 2 parts of the series are completed so you can avoid any frustrating wait for the continuation of the story. I would have preferred one novel instead of three novellas but that doesn't diminish the enjoyment of the series. I just hope someone doesn't buy the first or second book and give a poor review because the cliffhanger prompts them to purchase the rest in the series, although what you pay for each novella combined is still comparable if not less than a complete novel price.

Dani's thought process and internal [and external!] dialog are extremely amusing. In this story the heroine Dani finds herself on a strange alien planet. Her feelings are deepening toward her abductor/savior(!?) [Can't say more or I'll ruin it for you ;)] Dakhar... Hmmm Stockholm Syndrome perhaps? I enjoyed Dani's comparison of events and alien species to things she saw on movies such as 'Star Wars', 'The Terminator', and 'Iron Man' [to name a few]. I think that these references made the story seem more realistic by representing familiar things to the reader.

I will definitely read more from Mara Frost! I love the strong plot, the defined characters and the humorous banter between the characters -oh! - and the sex scenes are HOT too! ;)

I finally got to read the next part of the story and have enjoyed this series immensely. I really like this author the storyline just grabs you and you just love how the big hunky alien keeps losing his earth female. Then has to go to desperate lengths to get her back. I am looking forward to the next instalment with great anticipation. Please hurry. Highly recommend this series.
Really enjoyed this series (although the heroine's whiny attitude was annoying by the 3rd book... there is a difference between spicy and feisty and obnoxious), especially sexy Big Blue. I wasn't bothered by typos and such, if you want literature this is probably the wrong series for you. If you want to forget the bothersome details of your ordinary life, to escape off-planet, and be swept away by a large blue alien with a serious package... you will enjoy this book. This story was fast-paced delicious sexy alien romance sci-fi that satisfied. Will look for more from this author.
Third in the series (and last) and not as short as the others. The author has a very pleasant style, I thought it was quite funny as well. Dani and her Big Blue have crash landed on a strange planet and have to wait for help. Without excessive world building the author knows how to tell an interesting story and I also liked how Dani thought about certain things like 'why do humans think they are better than others in the food chain' and how she argued with Dakhar about it.

The attraction between Dani and Dakhar grows and I liked the way their relationship grows as well.

I do hope we will hear (much!!!) more about these two while they are off to the other quadrant where Jordan and Kaveth (his friend) are.

Very much enjoyed this series. I wish it was a more extensive full novel. But I will take what I get. I hope this author will write much more of these stories.
The best so far, and a lot longer than the others. Could actually be considered a book on its' own considering how much happened and developed in it. We get some more up close looks at other alien races. A new planet. I really love how Frost has just really created this alien world full of so many wonders and possibilities. And the relationship between Dani and Dakhar really begin to grow and meld into something more and a lot of fun to watch. Plus the things Dani gets herself into, and manages to, by some miracle, to get herself out of is just too funny. There's just so much I love about this book, and the series as a whole. And Frost better do another series for us to find out what happened to Jordan, because it would be so messed up if she didn't. Though, I don't really like that bit with the Chieftain (if you read it you'll know what I mean), because either it needs an explanation or that was just really off. Of course I must say, Frost needs a better editor. Geez, it's like some really obvious mistakes. If she can get that cleaned up, her books would be golden.
Another great addition to the series! My only complaint is that books 1-3 are really just 1 book that was split to make a serial type series. Books 1 and 2 were really funny but this one had me laughing out loud. My family kept looking at me like I was crazy but it was hilarious. Dani's actions and her internal banter are spot on. I won't list any quotes but her time on the new planet and meeting the natives was hilarious.

So we find out who the alien with the hood on at the auction is and the adventure with Dakhar continues. Their relationship is in the "I really like you a lot stage" maybe even more. Their chemistry is off the charts and relationship sweet and believable. Even though this is classified as erotica, there are not tons of sex scenes. However, they are definitely R rated and not for one who doesn't like to read "open door" love scenes. I would love to read more about the Alien Space Pirates!
