My Thoughts.....

I liked how this paranormal romance story picks up where the first series left off, so I would definitely suggest you read the first series so you will know what has happened in the past especially for two main characters Lexi and Eryx [the king and his wife]. Now, we find this this series is featuring Reese and Galena. It was quite a interesting journey for Reese who becomes a prisoner and Galena seeming to be falling for him. Will these two be forced to come to some decisions that will change their lives as 'Individuals and as a couple? This was one interesting read of where 'the world is divided basically into those who wish to overthrow the rulers and enslave humans against the Myren's of Eden.' This rebellion issue that involved Maxis [Reese's half brother] was quite a interesting one seeing how it all plays out with its twist and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat turning the pages to see what is coming next. Will Reese and Ery's sister, Galena find their HEA? I don't want to tell to much other than say if you like a good paranormal series you have come to the right place to get a good read. Now on to the next series for me: 'Waking Eden.'

Rhenna Morgan is one of my favorite writers now. This is the first book of hers I have read and I couldnt put it down. I ended up downloading the rest of this series, and read them one after the other. I have never had such an enjoyable 4 days. I loved the characters. Such strong independant woman, and such powerful, charismatic and loyal men. Their love for their woman is astounding, and makes us feel like our men are seriously lacking. The splendour of the world is amazing. I wish I was in one of her books. phew. It took me a while to come back down to earth again. The dream felt real.
I liked the first book. This was even better than the first. More to the characters, liked the story better. It moved along; romance, action. WITHOUT the interminable, stifling, repetitive, breast beating mea culpa that starts on the first page of a lot of like books and takes up at least a quarter of the rest of the story. You made a mistake? Bummer. Suck it up, deal with it, and get to fixing it (THAT'S the STORY)-as was done here. Hats off to Ms. Morgan. Will have to read the rest of the series to see if it keeps up with this one.
After reading the first book in the series, Unexpected Eden, I have been looking forward to this one. Ms. Morgan has created a world within this paranormal romance series that has captured my attention and draws me back each time. I expected no less from Healing Eden and I am happy to say I enjoyed this one too.

Galena has been an intriguing character from the start, the healer of the powerful Shantos family and rulers. Reese never seemed like he wanted to be a rogue warrior in the first book and I am happy that this book filled in some of those gaps. Their chemistry is undeniable and Galena will fight for Reese--who does not want to have someone willing to stand by their side through thick and thin?

Ms. Morgan introduced a new element to the series, an entirely separate race to Eden. It was unexpected--at least to me--and I will be curious to see how it continues to develop in the third book. I will be looking forward to continuing the series to see how the characters continue to grow with each other, and as individuals. I am also looking forward to seeing whom the final brother, Ramsay, and Ludan, friend and protector find as their partners in life.
This is book 2 of Rhenna Morgan series and it's Fantastic . She has you guessing what will happen from the first page to the last . You don't want to but it down at all .

We have Reese who is fighting for the rebellion to overthrow the Royal Family . He use to be friends with the Royal family but something happened to turn him away . During the battle Reese is flying over 2 females . One is injured and dying and the other one is trying to save her . He goes over that way and recognizes Galena .
Galena is a healer and her brother is King Eryx. She dosnt recognize Reese until he Jares her memory . Reese sees a fighter trying to aim at Galena and he steps in the way and gets hit . Galena dosnt know why but on Instinct she goes and heals Reese . Her brother comes upon her healing him and asks "WHY" she dosnt know why so she says she's a healer .
Reese is thrown in the dugeon and once again Galena goes to see him . She dosnt know why but she is called to him . Reese thinks he will die buy one way or the other . Either by the King or Maxx (the evil fighter ) so he asks one thing from Galena "A Kiss".
The kiss is so powerful that they both are overtaken by it. Galena goes to speak to her brother King Eryx to save Reese . That is where Reese sees his spirit guide and she tells him to think over everything .
Reese has a plan to try to steer Maxx to give up his evil rebellion . And Reese wants Galena for his own .
And they need to stop the Humans from coming into Eden . Like I said this book will have you reading it from the first page to the last . We find out in the story a surprise concerning Reese and Maxx . Lots of Traitors in the Royal army . Grab it and find out who . And how Galena saves Reese and does she make him her own
